As the chartering organization and sponsor of the Wimberley Boy Scout Troop 127 and Venture Crew 127 of Boy Scouts of America, the Post provides meeting and storage locations, as well as assisting in selecting good leadership, ensuring an outdoors program, promoting and recruiting, suggesting service projects, coordinating programs with the Post and maintaining dialogue between the Post and the Troop.  Boy Scouts are regularly seen with members of the Post at Fourth of July Rodeo, Memorial Day,  Armed Forces Day, Veterans Day events.
